You experience life through your nervous system. In fact, you could honestly say you are your nervous system.
Over time, the trauma, stress, and suffering you experience begins to strain your nervous system prohibiting you from living your fullest life. Lasting change begins when you address these traumas that your body carries and allow your body to release that pain.
That’s where we come in.
Rather than force your body into change, we use a gentle and surprisingly powerful process that supports your nervous system as it finds its own harmonized balance. This gentle approach involves lightly contacting parts of your spine to bring awareness and connection to specific areas of your body to allow space for healing to take place.
While the changes you experience will likely feel transformational, we’re really initiating an awakening and renewal of your true self, rather than you becoming someone new. As you re-discover your sense of self, you’ll begin to feel empowered to prioritize your own needs, which will benefit both yourself and those around you, helping you connect with others authentically.
You will experience enhanced body awareness, becoming more connected to your physical being.
You will become attuned to a sense of safety when dealing with outside stressors. Your body will begin to know what true safety feels like, allowing you to navigate outside events with ease and grace.
You could think of this process as a thawing out of your body. Over time, your physiology (your nervous system, skeleton, muscles, ligaments, fascia, digestion, hormones, emotions, etc.) has become immobilized by carrying all of the tension and stress of life. You’ll learn how to allow that accumulated tension to melt away, experiencing the liberation of a regulated nervous system.
Not only will you feel freedom in your body, but you’ll discover that you can safely reconnect with emotions that have become dulled over time by processing your core wounding in a supportive space, and recognizing and releasing the tensions that manifest themselves in your body.
How It Works
Our initial phase of care will help you feel safe, a sense of ease, and connectedness with your body sensations, helping you distinguish between pleasure and pain. Light touch on your spine will help focus your nervous system’s awareness on where and how you’re carrying stress and tension. Intentional embodiment, exploration, and curiosity will allow your body to engage in healing where it’s needed most. For many practice members, the initial results are often stunning.
As we continue to work together, you’ll learn how to apply the specific tools of embodiment and self-awareness to allow your nervous system to unwind and relax.
By applying these concepts on your own, you’ll make a lifestyle of feeling strong and resilient.
At that point, you’ve recaptured who you truly are, and can live an empowered life. So, while this isn’t a transformation, but an awakening, you’ll see the transformational effects in your life, your business, and your relationships.
The beautiful part of our process is that you don’t have to put in effort or spend energy on this process. You simply show up and receive the experiences of each session.
